Lost my watch, would love a stylish inexpensive replacement

I stupidly took my watch off at a children's party at the weekend, never to be seen again. I'm really cross with myself, it was a nice Seiko watch - granted bought with Tesco Clubcard vouchers (from goldsmiths 8 years ago).

A replacement would be several hundred pounds, and I don't really want to spend that much at the moment. Any ideas for something that's inexpensive, but also a bit of interest about it?

I'm 36 if that's important! With two little boys.

TIA

Swatch have a great range with loads of faces and straps to choose from. They're very reliable too.

I'm slightly obsessed with Olivia Burton watches at the moment...

What about a Skagen? I've had mine for a couple of years now and am very happy with it. I have the thin strap stainless steel version and it is very tough and comfortable to wear. They have some deals on line at the moment (I don't work for them, just checked them out prior to posting!).

Thanks for the ideas. I've been having a look, and like bits about all the above.

I would probably go for swatch because it's great value and so different. But my husband is worried I'll choose something too wacky. Aargh this is going to be difficult!!

I love Nixon watches at the moment, I have a Kensington but like several other styles too.

Have a look on John Lewis. I like this range

SurreyArmyWife · 28/07/2017 19:44

The rosefield range sold through John Lewis looks great, thanks BayLeaves. Love the style and colours, plus John Lewis is one of my go to shops. I hope their Kingston branch stock them!! Plus the price point at just under £100 is great.

A swatch is only as wacky as you want it to be

I love these

The mondaine watches are a little above my budget. But I really like their distinctive style. Thanks greenglass.
