Struggling to find DS12 clothes

I am really struggling to find clothes for DS12. He is big for his age and I have always added on 2 years for his clothing sizes. I am OK with finding him tops as if they are a bit big so what. However, I am really struggling to find him jeans, pants and shorts.

I usually go to Fat Face, GAP and Animal but their largest sizes, usually 13/14 are too small. The smallest adult sizes then start at a 30 waist which is too big.

My poor DS has no long pants left. I desperately need to find him some!

Don't start me on shoes either. He needs Clarks as he has really wide feet and he is between kids and adults now.

Hollister and Jack Wills are aimed at teens so their sizing may be suitable.

Good tip, thanks.

Lots of places do 28 inch waist in mens, maybe even 26 inch. River Island definitely do, also New Look. ASOS is a good place for getting all kinds of sizes in clothing.

Next, debenhams and m&s all do kids clothes online up to age 15/16. H&m in actual shops.
Top man do 28 inch waists as do primark.
It's annoying isn't it to have to start paying adult prices for a 12 year old.

BanyanTree · 26/07/2017 05:58

Yes it is. Fortunately I can hand it all down to my other DS.

Topman

TK Maxx always seem to have lots of trousers in smaller waist sizes.

Topman is good, and I think Burton do smaller waists too.

H&M men's jeans start from 27" waist. They also come in different leg lengths so it's possible to get a well fitting pair.

Next online.
H&M do a huge range of sizes/styles of jeans.
Sports Direct for shorts.
Sports Direct also good for black leather school shoes. These lasted a year including football at lunchtimes! DS has inherited his mother's duck feet.

I have this with dd who is just 11 but has an inside leg of 32.

Boden/Next/Littlewoods all go up to age 16, so you're not paying VAT.

I buy her jeans from Primark Womenswear.
