Interview outfit

Done to death I'm sure, but help! Have first interview for a long time and nothing suitable to wear, only a very old suit. I need inspiration, I generally wear tailored trousers and tops for work which from the company website looks about right for day to day wear but I need to smarten it up for an interview.

Have you got a decent jacket to wear with trousers and a top? That should do it, with a good bag and shoes. I wouldn't attend an interview without wearing a jacket, even if I didn't plan on wearing one every day when I was actually working, if you see what I mean. It's good to look as if you've made an effort and recognise the gravity of the occasion!

If not, look for a modern shape rather than a very tailored suit style.
