Apples / busty people where do you shop?

And what do you buy?!

I'm 37 and in need of a style refresh. What sort of clothes might make me look nice?

I'm 5.5, 32J boobs, apple shape with good legs and ankles. Not afraid of a short skirt or a low neckline if necessary!

I like colours - spill too much food to wear pastels and I don't like neutrals. I love print, modern geometric more than floral but I love geometric floral if that makes sense.
I'm pale skinned with slightly golden grey tinged mid brown hair and blue eyes.

I shop at bravissimo but a lot of it seems too plain and makes me look dumpy

Which shops / styles are my friend? I haven't really found my thirties style and still look in topshop and h and m Blush I really shouldn't.

I'm not too skint so could get a few nice things but am not loaded enough to do proper designer.

I'm not in London but am in a medium sized city, plus the Internet of course.

My most recent purchase which fits and suits me is attached hopefully, to give some sense of what I like, though I'd prefer this in a slightly more colourful print

Any help from similar shaped women hugely appreciated

Forgot to include my size! I'm a 12 except in the boob area where I'm whatever fits, hence I wear a lot of stretchy, mostly jeans with stretchy vests and cardigans. I'm bored of it.

Thanks for the recommendations photo, I'll visit their sites now...

I am a similar shape and it is so difficult. I followed advice on here and got some stuff tailored. I bought dresses and tops in a size to fit my norks and then took them to the local seamstress. A revelation, the clothes look much more expensive as they fit and flatter. It cost me around £6 to £10 per item dependant on how much work needed done.
As for jeans Tk Maxx is great as you can try different brands and work out which suit. Fat Face is also good for jeans.

I love colour and comfortable stretchy fabrics that are mostly unpopular on here.
I get most of my clothes at the moment at quiz or select.
Lol, I knew they wouldn't be popular choices but I'm very happy and I've found my style

I am busty and an apple but it is my tum that is the problem mainly. I tried some jeans on yesterday. Firstly it is hard to find any jeans without rips. Ok for the young but after a certain age I think it looks bad -not 'fashion, but dishevelled old lady'. I saw a pic of Felicity Kendall wearing them and it just did not look good.

Anyway, all the jeans did was point out my saggy tum. It sticks out with dresses too so I normally go for seperates.

Yewtown that sounds great - I've been meaning to do this for years but I haven't bothered looking for a seamstress. Thanks for the reminder, I'll revive the plan! I love this idea.
I found a couple of things I like at Quiz dowser, not loads but more than zero and even one in the sale Grin. I'll look through select another day.
This is really helpful. More ideas very welcome

I'm similar and find M & S good, Dorothy perkins ok and sometimes H & M/ another stories and recently warehouse has been good. I always try things on first and size up to fit my boobs.

I second finding a good dressmaker and showering her with love! (But not too many referrals or she'll never be able to fit you in!) I have around 10 boden ravello tops (only an example, not suggesting them for your style particularly). I also have JJ/K cup norks so to fit my chest they were like tents. £45 for the whole lot to be properly fitted through the waist. They look so much better, and I love them.

Monki, Navabi, ASOS Curve all worth a look.
