Hobbs Jacket & Dry Cleaning

I bought a jacket from Hobbs for my daughters wedding (along with dress shoes and bag). Had to take the jacket to the cleaners after the wedding as it had a food stain. Stain was removed however, the jacket was covered in bobbles (bit like pilling on a jumper) and you can see the lycra is coming away from the material.

Cleaner say the material is a problem and was probably not really suitable for dry cleaning. The jacket now looks a mess and worn-out.

I shall be taking it back to Hobbs but wondered if anyone else has experienced this with material which has lycra in it.

Thanks

I had one with material which had lycra in it.It was white and I had to laundry it to get some stains off. I only wore it once but it was a total mess after it came out from the laundry with lycra coming out of it all over. Only I forgot to go through its care label which said dry lean only!!

Seems like it's a problem whether you dry-clean or launder!
