Work shoes

Black, low heel, comfortable work shoes needed. Have just seen these when searching, but not seen irl yet. I love them but have I gone mad?

I have mixed feelings, Remus. I would like them more without the strap, but they look quite good styled in the full-body photo on Schuh.

I'm constantly on the lookout for comfortable (I.e., some padding under the ball of the foot) black suede courts with a mid block-heel, for less than £50. Surprisingly hard to find but admittedly I'm picky.

I like them! The strap is what I like most - have narrow heels and hate clenching my toes to keep court shoes on. And £29.99 reduced from £65 is a bargain.

No. Unless you work in a nursery. And then still no.

I like straps. Will try them on. I think they might be too high-shine though. Straps, I do; wooden look heels, I do; high-shine, I don't.

I saw them in the shop the other day. I liked them (especially in red) but I found the writing was too conspicuous for me. I thought I'd get annoyed by people trying to read my feet. The shape is nice, though, and I bet they're comfortable.

How shiny were the red ones? Don't mind the writing - I like Red or Dead!

I don't THINK they were very shiny. Just a nice leather sheen. But I can't remember that well, I'm afraid. I was buying something very shiny indeed, and those shoes just caught my eye as I like that style. I think you should definitely try them!

I love the shape, heel height and strap, perfect for work but just not sure about the writing for me personally. If you don't mind the writing definitely go for them.
