Style this dress for me please

Planning on wearing for a very special party.

Do I need colour?? Thinking red shoes and earrings or should I stick to black accessories and shoes??

Also have silver shoes which could be an option.

I think Red would be an obvious choice so i wouldn't wear it, I think silver would look great. I wore my black and white spotty dress with purple shoes and plum lipstick.

A silver pendant on a long chain would look elegant.

Definitely the silver shoes. Red shoes with a black dress is a bit obvious and a bit dated.
