I have a black patent pair that I use for work (I'm on my feet all day). I used meopore dressings (like large plasters 11p each from pharmacy) on each heel and use pop socks (even with tights and a dress for work) and I'm lucky my heels don't feel like I've used a cheese grater!!

They are the comfiest shoes I've ever owned (and I've had lots of DMs boots)

But now I am old and have bunions and mainly wear trainers that are comfy from the first moment you put them on

I have the white patent and black patent shoes. Never had blisters and they are wonderfully comfortable
