If I like benefit roller lash, will I like benefit they're real? I like roller lash because it doesn't smudge or clump either.

I might be in the minority but I found They're Real a very different beast to Roller Lash. Took me a while to get along with it.

It definitely won't smudge one iota but it's a right bastard to get it off at night.

I struggled to apply it without it clumping to begin with. It seems very wet. Preferred it when the tube had dried out a bit.

Boots sell the mini one for a tenner if you want to try it, might be better than investing in the big'un to find it's not for you.

They're Real looks good once it's on but it's a lot wetter/stickier so it can be hard to avoid clumping sometime Smile

AnnieOH1 · 20/07/2017 20:55

I hate they're real; it just doesn't have that great an effect on my lashes compared with other products. But it definitely stays put I'll give it that!

Ohyesiam · 20/07/2017 21:06

I like they're real, but I use a spooky brush to depredate my lashes, so maybe that's why I get no clumping.

Piratesandpants · 20/07/2017 21:11

Thanks all. I might stick with roller...

They are very different. I like both but defintely prefer Roller Lash. They're real is amazing for a night out but a bit much for the day as other have said is a dramatic look that can lean clumpy. Roller lash is much more lengthening and better at separating lashes for a more fluttery look, They're Real is all volume all the time! So yes, you might like them both, but be aware that they are quite different.

Sciurus83 · 20/07/2017 21:14

They're Real is also a nightmare to remove, you really need to use a balm cleanser followed by a decent eyemakeup remover to get it all off. I couldn't be bothered with it every day tbh

Cakescakescakes · 20/07/2017 21:16

As a side note.. Boots Seventeen Doll'd Up mascara is a dead ringer for Roller Lash at a third of the price.

Botanicbaby · 20/07/2017 21:19

I hate they're real but love Roller Lash.

The only one I will use apart from my trusty Max Factor 2000 calorie.

Benefit used to do a lovely one in Plum called Bad Gal. That was good too.

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 20/07/2017 21:21

I hate They're Real, too

Clumpy, messy and a nightmare to get off. I only bought it last week. I wonder if they do refunds?Hmm

TartanDMs · 20/07/2017 21:23

I didn't like They're Real when I tried it at the Benefit counter. I thought it didn't really look much different to the Rimmel one I was using, and looked clumpy. On the other hand I loved Rollerlash and was happy to buy it.

Glamorousglitter · 20/07/2017 21:23

Really struggled with they re real

Might try roller lash though sounds like it s more what I m after

MinesaPinot · 20/07/2017 22:22

I'm obviously in a minority here but I love They're Real. Makes my lashes look long and full. Doesn't smudge or flake, even in the really hot weather that we've had recently. Clinique Take the Day off gets it off for me.

I'm on my second tube.

cowgirlsareforever · 20/07/2017 22:25

I am boycotting Benefit because of their dreadful advertising campaign.
