Acnecide anyone?

Hi everyone,
Not quite sure if this is in the right place so apologies if not. I've been looking at acnecide 5% and am hoping to give it a go. I was wondering if anyone who had tried it would mind sharing their experiences?
Also I've heard that it's very ageing for skin which is a concern, does anyone know if there's any truth in this?

Thank you for any responses Smile

My daughter was prescribed for her acne - didn't make any difference whatsoever. She doesn't have serious acne but persistent. She also hard Differin for 3 months which has made a minimal difference.

I feel the biggest change has been recently, when I persuaded her to change makeup remover (and to stop using foaming cleansers) from Micellar water to a gentle La Roche Posay Toleriane makeup remover and cleanser. Her skin is less dry and she doesn't seem to be getting so many spots.

My dh has this on prescription. It keeps it at bay but doesn't get rid of the source imo. If he stops using it he will get a break out.

His opinion its ok but its all very superficial in what it treats

Thank you for both replies. To be honest it's not severe at all just more low level constant pimples really so hoping this will help. Worth a try. I will definitely have a look at the cleanser. If possible I would like to use something that seems less drying so could be a good option.
