Bardot top for work - yes or no?

I work in a pretty casual office, jeans are the norm. Cold shoulder tops totally acceptable. But what about Bardot tops?

I'm meeting friends for lunch tomorrow and want to wear my new bardot top (plain blue with a small lace trim around the bottom in the same colour). But can I get away with wearing it all day, or should I wear something else to the office and then change for lunch?

Wellhonestly you are a genius! Yes it is elasticated at the top, and it works as a peasant style top that way. You have completely solved the problem and I won't have to faff with changes. Thank you! Flowers

No, but why not just wear a cardigan/jacket over it. It's going to be 18 degrees where I live tomorrow and possibly raining so you'd be cold anyway.

I would also wear it but on the shoulder and very definetly not off the shoulder. You could wear one shoulder out also, if it works with the top.

If you worked in a bar...

I'd never wear an off the shoulder top in a professional setting.

No definitely not for work.

Not in my very casual office. Sorry.
