Who is looking forward to getting the M&S beauty advent calendar this year? Or any beauty advent calendar for that matter!

I had my first M&S one last year and LOVED it.

I'm hoping for more Emma Hardie, Eyeko and Nuxe this year.

I was just thinking about beauty advent calendars the other day and musing whether to get the M&S one, or the Liberty one...................or both!

how much was it last year?

The M&S one was £35 and seemed like really good value.

I hate Christmas, I mean really loathe it. Christmas is dead to me. And now thanks to you two, even I am thinking about advent calendars! Grr.......

Harrods are releasing one this year. Looks good. Similar style to Liberty but £250 compared to Liberty's £160.

Ah the summer one was ok but not a patch on the Christmas one. I had to save mine from last year so dd can have her own one with 7 year old appropriate gifts! The m&s one was excellent value for money.

Major brands are starting to invite bloggers and influencers to look at all the xmas range.

I want a liberty one this year.

I was talking to a colleague about these yesterday! My MIL bought me the M&S one last year and I loved it. Still using lots of the products. I had the summer box too and that was fab for a tenner. I've also started having a monthly Birchbox as I love trying new stuff.

The packaging of the Christmas one was lovely and felt very high quality. I hope they do similar this year. I've also saved 2 m&s sparkly sequin trees to refill - the caramel chops it contained weren't that great but the trees were brilliantly festive.

I'd like to get another one this year.
It had loads of great products that I have bought since.
Loved the burts bees hand cream.

I had the sanctuary one and it contained a ridiculous amount of booty!

I've had L'Occitane ones for the last two years and I love them. Eyeing up Liberty this year...

Bought the benefit one for my dd this year. Was cheaper than previous years but had only 12 days of Xmas. It was still lovely but hoping they go back to 24 again.

I had the l'occitane one last year which was nice but felt a bit samey as it was all the same brand and same type of products, and they were tiny. This year I think I'd like the m&s one, looks more fun! Although the sanctuary one is very tempting as its so cheap with decent size things in. And I also love the look of the rituals one but it is more expensive and worried I'd feel the same about it as I did the l'occitane one. Anyone have it last year?

The Liberty one was good but it wasn't worth the money - I've still not opened a couple including a perfume apparently 'worth' £50 as the reviews say it's a scent I won't like

The M and S one was amazing - I loved all the products

The Nuxe one was also fantastic (only a 12 day one) I bought 2 more in the sales for £7 each - serious bargain

I LOVED my Liberty one last year, and will be ordering again this year. It normally comes out mid October, which is close to my birthday so I spend any birthday money on it to make the price more palatable.
