Please tell me about smart, classy shoes....

I've always worn flat [my mum says frumpy] shoes (I'm tall). I've had a style renaissance in my office wardrobe thanks to a personal shopper (one of the best things I've ever done), but we didn't cover shoes. I chose some myself from M&S but they're all wrong (read frumpy) and don't do the outfits justice.

With my new found confidence (partly attributable to the new clothes, partly due to becoming a mum!) I got a dream job which I start very soon (managerial, in an office). I want to look the part. I want to be one of those women with glamourous footwear (shallow, I know!)

My clothes are dresses with nude tights, smart tops, cigarette pants and jackets. Colours are navy, black with splashes of blue, pink, green, white.

Please recommend smart and classy shoes that will go with everything, but are comfortable enough to walk around the office in every day. I'm thinking LK Bennett but don't know where to start or if their shoes are comfortable. I would like a mid heel because I'm tall.

This is my handbag, aubergine quilted Mia fiorelli handbag. Not sure if I need to match handbag and shoes- probably not, I picked the handbag because it's dark and quite neutral but not black.

I bought these lovely shoes today. I was surprised at how comfortable a mid heel and I'm hoping they are neutral enough to go with everything.

I think those are lovely. Would also get a black pair of similar courts.

I'm a firm advocate of LK Bennett shoes, they're the only heels I can walk in. However most of mine are very very old, so no idea if they're still as good (I only wear heels for very special occasions now). But if/when I'm in the market for heels I don't look anywhere else.

Oh I'd make an exception if there was a cut price pair of Valentino Rockstuds though

Yes, now I understand why LK Bennett shoes are so expensive - I don't wobble on their heels!
