Nice or horrid?

I thought I liked it, but not sure now. Tried it on with my 3 year old so no real time to decide, so just bought it.

Not sure about the 'off the shoulder-ness' of it, and does it just look like a sack?

On the plus side it's 100% cotton so would do for my holiday just to wear about the place.

What say you?

I think perfect for holiday, going to the beach etc. Might look a bit out of place on a grey day round here though.

I like that it's cotton and can throw it on over a bikini, but never done the off the shoulder thing before. Plus I think it looks a bit rubbish on the H&M website!

Perfect for holidays and I would definitely wear that out for drinks in this country in the summer, keep it!

I really like it, just wear it a tiny bit lower down it looks a bit high up on your shoulders and may end up pinging up and off them.

Thanks for the tip silk! Wasn't sure how low to go, so to speak, and it does feel like it might ping up! I also won't bother wearing a bra with it as it's not clingy in anyway and I am pretty flat chested, so no obvious bra straps!

Whew..thanks ladies.

I thought it was going to be a 'horrid' en masse!

Just in case anyone is looking for some nice summer dresses/tops at the moment, H&M seem to have lots of good stuff in at the moment. I bought a few cotton tops and another cotton dress for holiday, and the whole lot came to about £40. Also they have an H&M club thing going at the moment like a loyalty card, and when you sign up you get 10% off an item.

Def worth a look.

Do we think it would work with heels as well as flat sandals/flip flops for a slightly more eveningy look, or is it more a day dress?

ps i think it would go with heeled sandals as well as flats. mind you I am short so I will wear anything with heels Smile

Another like from me. You could always dress it up if needed with a thin gold or silver belt to match your footwear.

I bought this last week!

It looks dreadful on me as a dress but I'm going to get out my sewing machine and turn it into a skirt as I love the print!

I'm still not 100% convinced, from the side it looks a bit sack-like, but then again for the purpose of a throw on dress over a bikini or maybe with a belt as Blast suggested it may be more flattering.

Can I ask Lady why you didn't like it on you?

It looks fantastic on you, but truly awful in the website photo!!! I think you could wear it in the evenings, with a statement necklace and perhaps strong eye makeup - something like Estee Lauder always seem to do their summer tan makeup photos if that makes sense?
