Raincoat for eight year old

My DD isn't usually particularly bothered about what she wears (so long as she chooses it). Generally in leggings, tshirts and trainers. She's taken against her coats recently and refused to wear them - even on the rainiest days. And we live somewhere really wet!

Her purple trespass waterproof 'sticks out too much' and a navy spotty showerproof (rolls into a bag) is 'too crinkly'. Both of these defects are enough for her to prefer to be wet.

Any suggestions for an acceptable waterproof coat please?

I appreciate that waterproofs are rarely stylish or beautiful...

What about the Hatley ones? They go up to 8. Can't vouch for how waterproof they are though 🙂

Hayley raincoats are great. Not only waterproof but have a lovely, towelling soft lining.
Good sizes too and lot of,different designs.

Amazon stock a great range
This is my son's which he refuses to take off some days!
