Help me to spend £50 in M&S!

I've been given a £50 voucher for M&S. I'm not too keen on their clothes apart from the knickers, and I'm certainly not spending my present on pants!
I know they have a pretty good beauty dept but I'm clueless what to buy. What are your must-haves for a knackered 42 year old mother of 2 small DCs? Is there a miracle potion to restore my lost youth?

The ultimate night cream is lovely!

PurpleDaisies · 18/07/2017 22:27

REN clarimatte toner is really good. It made a massive difference to my skin.

AfunaMbatata · 18/07/2017 22:28

I was about to suggest knickers untill I read the full op Grin

MelanieCheeks · 18/07/2017 22:28

Their wine is pretty good-maybe some champagne, and glamorous negligee to sip it in?

TupperwareTat · 18/07/2017 22:29

Duvet cover.
Towels.
Lamp.
Wine.

In no particular order of importance.

Buglife · 18/07/2017 22:32

Pixie Glow Tonic. And the double cleanse. Will have more impact than any expensive moisturiser, getting the skin surface condition much fresher in the first place! I love Pixie stuff.

MuchasSmoochas · 18/07/2017 22:33

Ultimate Night Cream!! And I usually use any old cream but after a sample I bought it.

Mummamayhem · 18/07/2017 22:36

And the nuxe bath oil is amazing. A tiny drop in a bath is really really moisturising!

Matilda1981 · 18/07/2017 22:42

M&S food would be my way of spending the money 😂😂. I'd defo treat myself to some delicious goodies!

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 18/07/2017 22:45

£50 worth of rocky road bites?

OverAndAbove · 18/07/2017 22:47

Ren rose otto bath oil and spend the change on almond macaroons in pretty colours. Job done!

WeeM · 18/07/2017 22:50

A years supply of Percy pigs and for £50 you could even splash out on some Colin caterpillars too Grin

birdsdestiny · 18/07/2017 22:51

The way I did it was spend 50 on m & s food then used £50 I had saved from the food budget to spend on clothes in other shops.

Kintan · 18/07/2017 22:51

Spend it in the food hall :)

buckeejit · 18/07/2017 22:54

I have £50 vouchers from Christmas & £40 from compensation but rarely see something in clothing that I like enough to justify.

It's my 40th in a few weeks so I'm going to pick a few bottles of lovely wines 😃

buckeejit · 18/07/2017 22:55

The pure cream cleanser is gorgeous - smells great

ephemeralfairy · 18/07/2017 23:58

Definitely Clarimatte or PIXI Glow. Nuxe and Stila are good bets too.

Other than that I'd go for...

Nice bottle of wine and some new glasses to drink it from.

Bedding

Stuff for the store cupboard that I always want but can't justify: truffle oil, liquid smoke, saffron etc etc

burnishedsilver · 18/07/2017 23:58

2 of the best products on the market imo -

liquid gold

Elasticizer

ephemeralfairy · 18/07/2017 23:59

Oh also Skyn Iceland cleansers and moisturisers are lovely!

needastrongone · 19/07/2017 02:51

Pixie Glow Tonic, anything from Nuxe (their lip balm and body oil are really lovely though) the ultimate night cream.

Their jeans have really improved though, even 16 year old DD bought 2 pairs last month. I think their jeggings get good reviews on here too.

needastrongone · 19/07/2017 02:52

Liquid gold is a wonderful product too.

Rinkydinkypink · 19/07/2017 02:54

Burnishedsilver is right!

KimchiLaLa · 19/07/2017 04:10

I would just spend it on food, their beauty section (Emma Hardie, pixi, their own Pure range) or a classic colour cashmere sweater which will last you.

DearTeddyRobinson · 19/07/2017 07:33

Ooh some great ideas here! Maybe a sexy nightie and a vat of rocky road are a more sensible approach Grin
I have heard of Pixie Glow but will have a look at the other ideas too. I should really post a before and after pic to show my undoubted transformation to goddess?

Mind I hope someone from m & s is reading this. How bad have their clothes become when we won't even take them for free.
