Is there such a thing as a supportive, non-wired bra for big boobs?

Just that really.

I'm after something comfy for chilling out in that's not wired but cant seem to find anything that will give me support and not give me mono-boob or saggy boobsI

I've always word wired bras as I like a bit of scaffolding but wanting to be comfier is winning recently.

This might be too mono boob for you? I haven't tried it yet as it's new... x

YourHandInMyHand · 18/07/2017 21:20

Oh no. Sad

NEmum yes I think it might be, I'm a 34GG, don't know if that would keep them under control ha ha.

Well I've ordered one from M&S to try on, it's only to wear while I'm lazing around in my PJs so we shall see, might order the bravissimo one to try too if the M&S one disappoints.

More like a sports bra perhaps?

abitwrong123 · 18/07/2017 21:23

Under Armour! I've recommended them on another thread this week. I wear their sports / crop top type bras permanently. I can't wear normal bras for very long at all as I have a couple of scars but am a 30F / 32E.

Really really supportive but incredibly comfortable and no wires etc.

YourHandInMyHand · 18/07/2017 21:32

abitwrong which one do you have? Had a look and there's loads on there. Are you a big cup size too?

I find sports bras generally give me monoboob but some of them on there look promising....

Molke. Think they reopen their website in a week or so for orders, they have a Facebook page. I'm a 34K and have one (happy to post a pic!)

YourHandInMyHand · 18/07/2017 21:41

Underarmour only go up to DD. Sad

Ollivander thanks for recommendation I will have a look on their FB page.

I've never found one but am planning on buying the bravissimo vest tops with built in bras to see what they're like.

Although it's wired, I find the Panache tango really comfy

That Bravissimo sleep bra is terrible. It just sort of squashes the breasts together and is more like a very compressing sports bra than anything one might want to relax in. I sent it straight back and if you read the reviews they are awful.
Fantasie used to make a supportive soft bra, it had boning at the sides of the band which helped keep the shape but it isn't made any more. Royce make soft bras for big cups that I wore when pregnant but they aren't very comfortable really. I had one very comfortable bra when pregnant, again it had boning in the band, and one central bone , this worked well to keep the cup structure without the issues of wires. It was a European make from Rigby and Peller but I no longer have it to check the brand. What is your bra size?

YourHandInMyHand · 18/07/2017 22:03

I like the look of molke!

I lived in my Molke one before and after spinal surgery! Brilliant for MRI scans as no wires plus the nurses kept admiring it Grin

The bravissimo pj tops with built in 'support' - not individual cups are ok. I'm a 28G and it's comfy but a bit sweaty. Would be suitable for lounging at home- some styles could even be very casual outdoor /to be seen in public, - depending on your style. Good luck in finding something!
