Where to buy bikini for 15yo DD?

As the title really. My daughter is 15, needs a new bikini. Fairly slight and small busted. M&S seems quite mumsy/older target audience, Hollister too sexy (although if we can't find anything else she could get one from there at a push) H&M just doesn't fit, PINK too expensive....

Any thoughts? TIA.

Debenhams

ScarlettDarling · 18/07/2017 18:24

There are lots of nice ones at Top shop and not too expensive either.

Decathlon

pizzagal · 18/07/2017 18:24

Good thinking, I'd not looked there. Thanks :)

Also, would you all feel comfortable allowing a 15yo to wear a skimpy bikini on the beach? DD has matured a lot in the last year or two and only wore kids' bikinis before. I have no idea if I'm being unreasonable - I do not see it as sexual, I was just wondering!

My daughter a similar age and has chosen a couple of bikinis this year both quite skimpy ' not thong type but pretty small. One is blue striped ( jack wills ) and one plain navy. Most of her friends have similar .
.
We had previously had a giggle at photos of me and my sisters wearing skimpy bikinis at the same age hand made in towelling by my lovely granny - think string and triangles !

She also has a speedo Cossie for water sports 🙂

Swimwear365 do lots of different styles. Dd got a couple from there last year and she is a similar age.

Jack Wills, Hollister both lovely but New Look might have some nice ones.

Palomb · 18/07/2017 18:58

I got my dd a couple of bikinis yesterday - a
Roxy one from TKMax for £6 and one from Primark for £8. Both lovely.

ijustwannadance · 18/07/2017 18:59

Primark.

LadyLapsang · 18/07/2017 19:09

Boden girls and J Crew both have bikinis in her size in the sale at the moment, but J Crew only has one style / colour remaining (it has lots of women's but they are lots more expensive).

elevenclips · 18/07/2017 19:10
