Hi. Have you ever had your hair cut/short/restyled and thought " oh no! What have I done!"

And instantly regretted it?

Just want your feedback please.

Yep. Went from my natural blonde to dark brunette. Totally washed me out and left me feeling invisible. Took me four months and an amazing hairdresser to get me back to blonde. Never, ever again.

Sorry - realised you didn't specifically mention colour. I did have a high maintenance fringe cut in just before the arrival of DC2. That was a massive error.

Chipsandonionrings · 18/07/2017 12:38

yes but the cut wasn't very good. so I had it recut and now a few weeks have passed I love it. I am very meh about hair as it will grow back.

I ummed and ahhed for ages to get the courage up, then I just popped into my usual hairdressers to see if she could fit me in and she could there and then. if I had waited I would have lost my bottle. due to go back in 2 weeks for highlights - just hoping she doesn't realise I had the cut tidied up by someone else Blush

Wow! You were lucky you had a good Hairdress then!
At least it makes one think twice for any future changes.

Yes it's interesting to read about colour change too.

Yes it does grow back.but sometimes not as quick as you would like Smile

Deciding to try a fringe not long before my wedding 🙈. Lucky my wedding hairstylist managed to disguise it beautifully. #hairspray

Yep. Went for a crop, and looked awful. Compounded that by dyeing it red, but the colour didn't take as on the box and it was bright orange. I looked like a Swan Vesta. I have never dared to go that short since.

Gotanewusernamenow · 18/07/2017 12:48

This is it with changing style etc.
Mine is past shoulder length.
Took nearly two yrs to get to this length.
So if I have a Bob or something I suppose it wouldn't be that short.

I was so fed up of my hair- it's really thin and just hangs there. I am not very good at styling it and I just looked shit in pictures. so I decided to have my chin lenght bob cut into something more structured. as its shorter it is easier to manage and holds its style better.

i did go from blonde to brunette once - that was a terrible mistake as I looked ill and it costs bomb to put right.
