Has anyone else tried this online? If you haven't, seriously DON'T!!
I saw something I quite liked, ordered it and it arrived last week...It's awful. Very different from picture, proportion wise etc. Anyway, no problem I thought, I'd just return. It's been an absolute nightmare and still no resolution. Everyone you contact just tries to make deals with you in dollars!! And there's no apology or ownership about the actual issue which is garments not matching description etc

How are they getting away with this??
Even the online chat went on for an hour before she asked me to upload a picture, measuring different points on top and finally saying she could knock some money off. I actually just wanted to send it back but of course they will not pay for postage...

What a racket!

Is there a U.K. Based complaints department or anyone else I should contact. It's the principle now...

I started an order with them, but then thought I'd quickly check reviews and there are many like yours!
Now I've read your post I'm so glad I didn't order.
Hopefully lots of people will see this and it will save them from ordering too.

Did you 'open a ticket?' that's the option I found when I was returning. I had to list the code for each item and said they didn't suit rather than didn't fit as I'd seen previous reviews about them saying the sizes are all listed on each item. I then got a return postage label which they would take about £3 off my refund amount, also have an address to return using my own method. My stuff wasn't that bad, in fact a couple of the tops were actually nice but I'm really petite and they just were too loose, particularly on my scrawny arms! I just sent my entire hush order back for the same reason so I can't really complain about shein either.

Sorry you've been caugh out. A few weeks ago a thread appeared here asking about quality etc, I think some posters had used it and found it OK. If in doubt Google the company, there are plenty of reviews available. Not sure how you will get your money back though, you might have to chalk it up to experience.

I get a lot of pop ups from them with some tempting things. But when I looked at the site it looked a bit dodgy to me - can't remember why, but disregarded them from then on. Glad I followed my instinct.

hmmm glad i've seen this as everything looks a bit too good to be true in the pop ups I am bombarded with!!

...Yes ive been offered to return postage label but at a cost and my point is the garment is shoddy so I really shouldn't have to pay!

Do not buy from SHEIN!...

Gosh, well probably 50%of my wardrobe is from Shein I love it and have been using them for around 3 years now. I am very petite though - 5 foot 3 and 6-8 and I love more unusual styles. If something hasn't been right, it's been a fit issue rather than a quality one. I think the quality is good, wash well etc. The majority of my clothes that I get compliments on are by SheIn.

I ordered bikinis from Romwe and while they took ages to come they actually were fine quality, not amazing obviously but I was pleased with them. It seems so hit and miss with clothes though that it's probably not worth it. Sizing is an issue too, as a size 8-10, I read it was best to buy bigger sizes so I got L/XL and they fit perfectly.

I got some tops from Shein and really like them! Like Jmangel I always get compliments on my Shein tops. I'm not sure I'll risk it again though as they do get a lot of bad press!
