What shoes with this dress? It's for a super glam cocktail party wedding.

Was thinking of possibly a barely here sandal. Any thoughts?

If I were you, I'd either pair it with black tights + black heels, or nude heels if you're forgoing tights.

I'd agree with you, I think that although it's heavily embellished it could look a bit old with a court especially in summer. In winter then probably ankle boots (dainty) or heels but it would look more formal party than cocktail party.

If you go for barely there sandals, I'd get an ankle strap style - you have the legs and ankles to carry it off. An across the foot strap might look a bit frumpy because the dress has long sleeves.
