Just found out I have an interview next week at a VERY posh independent school. Elite, even. Uber rich, uber conservative.

It's a non-teaching role, but I checked the website and a large number of the female staff seem to be wearing jackets. I don't have a jacket. Or a suit. Or the time or money to go round and get one before the interview.

Would a nice, jersey Boden dress, heels and pearls be conservative and smart enough? Are they expecting a dress/jacket? I am so unbelievably stressed about this. I obviously have no issues buying expensive suit type clothes if I know I've got the job, but I can't afford this sort of outlay just on the hopes of getting it...

If anyone has a bright idea then I'm an hourglass size 14/16 with a bit of a mummy tummy. I can get John Lewis or Next stuff easily and quickly but haven't got the chance to go anywhere else, so it would have to be delivered by close of play on Monday
