Dark under eye and veins

Hello everyone! I'm new so I hope I am doing this right, apologises if not. I have struggled with very dark under eyes and visible veins under the eye, they make me incredibly unhappy in my appearance and I worry about them a lot! I know it is silly but I have such a large hang up about them and people have often commented on them, for example, when I hadn't completely concealed my undereye for work a co-worker said 'oh no! You look like you're at deaths door?! Such dark circles, are you alright?' And another one is MIL once said (after I had concealed my under eye with three different types of brightening concealer) 'don't you look much better without those awful dark circles!'

It's really bringing me down and I have been wondering if any of you have any suggestions on any under eye creams that could help or even any procedures such as dermal fillers for the under eye/veins?

My eyes are exactly the same and even with tonnes of concealor people still constantly tell me i look knakered i hate it.

I have literally just finished a course of treatments for dark under eye circles and while I was dubious at first, it has actually been really effective for me to the extent that I am no longer using an under-eye concealer at all, whereas I was trowelling it on before and still not being happy with the result.

I had six sessions of radiowave therapy and light therapy (both done in a treatment taking about an hour), and a light peel to help with fine lines around the eyes. It was very expensive though (not much change from £1k) and I've been advised to use all sorts of expensive products to help maintain the results.

I originally went to enquire about tear trough fillers btw and was advised they would bring the darkness forward and make it more prominent. I was referred to a cosmetic dermatologist to sort the dark circles out instead.

I have this problem too. I look ill, old and tired. I don't have a lot to splash out on treatments but I have found something that makes a massive difference.

It's £24.95 and I got it from Beauty and the boutique. It really does work, lasts all day and just looks like you but better.

I have this too and, like you, have spent way more time worrying about it than I feel comfortable about. Every year or two I have a big trawl of any new products I can try to make it better as I've never found any concealer that makes me feel fully confident. In fact I've just been looking this week and it seems there are a few new things people are raving about, such as the veil one mentioned above and I've also ordered a Becca under eye brightening cream. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't report on how good it is yet but I've heard great things... I live in hope! I think I could cope with how bad my dark circles look if I could just find a product to cover them up, preferably that is very quick and easy to apply. What do you use out of interest?

sleepisforlosers at the moment I use kheils avocado under eye cream as a treatment (it helps to reduce the hallowness but not the darkness or veins) and for concealer I use three. I have a colour correctting one from urban decay in peach, which I use before foundation. Then on top of my veins I use erase paste by benefit as it is more full coverage with colour correcting benefits. And then once I've finished my full face of make up I use tarte shape tape cocealour, to lighten up the under eye area further. Then set with a brightening powder! So many steps just for a normal is looking face!!

I use the nyx Orange concealer in medium, the light was peachy & it was too light.

Thank you for you suggestions, it's just I don't want to just conceal them, I want rid I want a permenant solution. Looking at radio wave and light therapy now, it's all just so expensive

I use coffee grinds from the coffee machine (but have tried it with dried instant coffee and it works just as well), I mix them into my face moisturiser in a blob on my hand and apply them each evening, leave them on for ten minutes and then wash off, its made a massive difference to mine.

I have exactly this problem. I've seen genuine improvement from using The Ordinary's caffeine eye treatment...the only product that ever has made a difference, and I've tried many! It hasn't made a dramatic change but some improvement at least. And it's about a fiver which is a bonus!!!
