Help wanted...

I have a wedding to go to. My partner's bother. I'm 43. It will be full of the young and beautiful. I don't want to look like mutton, but would like to hold my own iyswim. I'm size 14, F cup bra, so I don't really want anything too strappy.

I don't really want to spend a fortune either. I don't see them very often and we are not that close.

Please can anyone help? I've spent the last 3 hours looking on line and my eyes are stinging now. I've given up

What colours suit you? And what parts of you do you want to show off / hide?

I tend to look washed out in very pale colours. Have fair skin. Bit of a bingo wing thing going on, knees have seen better days, but other than that, I can live with the rest of it...

I don't think navy is too dark for a summer wedding. Accessorise with orange or bright blue. It is a classy dress (the Phase 8 one) and you will get more than one wear out of it. You can tell I am soooo old with all this practical take on it
