Double wear light or alternatives

I've had enough of make up sliding off my face by lunch time and also feel I need a bit more coverage these days. Used to use Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet which I loved - lightweight and lovely finish but by lunch time it is gone and I've tried it with several primers.

Have a sample of double wear light which does last but I find it a bit claggy texture wise and it gathers a bit round my nose.

Wondering about other long wear foundation alternatives? Tried the new double wear nude but not enough coverage. It's very sheer despite supposedly being light to medium coverage.

Any thought on the Urban Decay all nighter one or the Chanel Ultra Tenue (??) long wear one? Especially keen own a more fluid texture.

If you want a more fluid texture, you may want to try YSL's Fusion Ink. You have to shake the bottle, sheer, long lasting and you can "layer" it for where you want more coverage. Gives a lovely natural finish that lasts. Ask for a sample, it covers in great little dinky pots.

Alternatively, the new Armani foundation Power Fabric is a more fuller coverage foundation, but it blends really well and is very long lasting. I think the trick with it is to only use a very little. This is my favourite foundation for summer, again, ask for a sample.

Like you, I don't get on with Double Wear light...

Mac studio fix fluid is great. I switched from double wear to it and never looked back
