Help me find a leather jacket for a 70 year old!

My lovely mum is about to turn 70. She has recently admired my leather jacket (biker style from Zara) and told me that she has 'always wanted a leather jacket' but hasn't felt brave enough to buy one. I thought it would make a lovely 70th present and would help to show her that a milestone birthday like this does not mean a downward slide into sensible and boring.

I am not sure the biker style would be right though - and I don't want anything with tassels/fringe/studs as I know she wouldn't like that. She is a size 10/12 and looks great for her age.

Does anyone have any ideas? I guess my budget would be around £150.

here they are. I particularly liked the colour of the last one on the list. Very subtle and flattering. They all had really nice soft thin leather though.

I have a massimo dutti one, its brilliant. Not be cheapest but, in the words of the advert, buttery soft.

I think that's a lovely idea and I hope someone does it for me one day!

Apologies in advance as these are both over budget but I think they tread the line between modern and classic very well, aren't heavy on the hardware and well... maybe you can persuade someone else to chip in with you?? I've not seen either in real life but they're both quality brands.

Jaegar online have a few ranging from £199-£299 here
I believe they're still going as an online business although the shops have closed? (probably a good idea to check before ordering)

And this one is from Pure Collection I've had a few things from them and it's always been very good. Their homepage says there's another £20 off if you buy 3 items before midnight so no pressure!.

All saints bales are classic .

I think that green/khaki's really nice - I'd wear it - but I guess it depends on whether your mum would like it.

I tried that on today and it is bloody lovely.
