Best foundation under £10 - pale!

I'm going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and need a new foundation with good coverage. I usually wear no7 but am finding it quite greasy and it doesn't last the day. Also I can't really afford it atm.

So s&b what would you recommend? I'm late 20s, blonde, pale and a bit freckly, sometimes blotchy so need good coverage.

For that price range, I really like L'Oréal infallible, it should have staying power for the whole day of the wedding, and lots of shades!

dun1urkin · 10/07/2017 21:50

Revlon colorstay. I switched to this from EL DW, and won't be going back.

Waggamamma · 10/07/2017 22:09

Thank you! 😊

I'm very pale! Bourjois CC cream is life changing, light bit buildable. Can't remember how much it is it around a tenner.

For a heavier more made up look I like Gosh foundation. Also very very pale.

TashieWoo · 10/07/2017 22:15

Revlon photoready is pretty good and Bourgois healthy mix always seems to be featured in articles about good-value and good quality makeup but I have never tried it.

DumbledoresArmy · 10/07/2017 22:36

Is revlon colorstay good?

I wear the bourgeois 10 hr (I think?) sleep because no others are light enough that they do. I also have recently started wearing a rimmell match one too.

NYX stay matte liquid foundation is good, I'm super pale and I find their shade ivory is perfect for me. You can get it from boots. 👍🏻

OlennasWimple · 10/07/2017 22:53

Yy to Bourgeois

And Boots No 7 perfect match is excellent too - if they have a coupon offer it comes down to not much more than £10 IIRC

NC4now · 10/07/2017 23:06

I like Rimmel Wake Me Up. Makes me look less knackered!

Logoplanter · 11/07/2017 14:28

Agree with Anne loves Both of those very good and cheap. I prefer the look of the Bourjois CC cream but Gosh is cruelty free which is where I'm trying to go with all my cosmetics.

Loyly · 11/07/2017 14:30

Bourjois City Radiance has been brilliant for my pale skin.

HelenRose1111 · 11/07/2017 14:34

The Ordinary Civersge or serum Fiundatiin, applied with a flat topped brush gives amazing coverage - I'm crazily pale and 1.0 NS is perfect.
£5.90, bargain.

HelenRose1111 · 11/07/2017 14:35

Argh! COVERAGE not whatever my phone decided to post !

calmday · 11/07/2017 16:25

L'Oréal infallible

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/07/2017 16:30

Colourstay is good.

Waggamamma · 11/07/2017 16:45

Thanks! I popped into Superdrug at lunchtime and was totally overwhelmed with the choice, I've gone with L'Oréal infallible.

Be careful with revlon colour stay, it's a fantastic foundation but brought me out in big under the skin spots, almost like cysts.

MissBeehiving · 11/07/2017 18:45

Bourjois cc is very good

indigox · 11/07/2017 18:47

Revlon colorstay. I switched to this from EL DW, and won't be going back.

+1

kittapie · 11/07/2017 18:49

Another vote for Bourjois, I have all their foundation lines but the Healthy Mix is my favourite!

lobsterface · 11/07/2017 22:50

I'm so jealous you guys can get pale enough healthy mix - it's orange on me 😫

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 11/07/2017 22:52

I was about to say GOSH X-ceptional wear but I see you have found one.
