Help me find some pants!

I really want some cotton pants, but ones that don't give me a huge VPL so that I can wear them under fitted skirts for work. I'm finding my usual non-cotton ones really uncomfortable in the heat. I switched to good old M and S cotton ones for under jeans and they are fab but they don't really work under skirts.
Any ideas? Would the giant sloggi ones be any good?

H&M shortie shaped ones with lace at the top are the best I've found that are cotton and VPL avoiding.
