Perfume experts! I need your noses

I'm on the lookout for a new perfume. I currently wear Stella McCartney original (rose/orange/amber but quite heavy and a bit sultry). And Singosari from Molton Brown which is nutmeg/ginger/patchouli/incense. I recently tried samples of, and liked, dark amber and gingerlily and myrrh and tonka bean from Jo Malone but not 100% sure about them.

Love cinnamon/amber/patchoili/rose/ginger/smoky/oriental/sultry/bit dark

Hate hate hate 95% of department store perfumes, Daisy, Candy, Be Delicious, Chance etc they all smell the same to me, like sweet cloying flowers.

Don't want to spend hundreds if possible! Any ideas of stuff I could go and try? I've spent a few afternoons in Fenwicks etc. and just hated almost everything I smelled so I'm in need of help! Thank you

That website is really interesting, like the idea of a taster set. Would make a great present too

4160 Tuesdays Shazam is like an oriental cinnamon type. It reminds me of Christmas and my mum studding oranges with cloves and rolling them in arrowroot
