Love Jean Muir. Does this look like a dressing gown.

Would a big leather belt help?

I'm worried I like this so much because I love Jean Muir.

Jean Muir coat? What do you think?

It's lovely. I like it with the belt. How tall are you? Might be best with heels.

Sanscollier · 09/07/2017 16:36

I love Jean Muir and I think it will look fab with original or leather belt!

ColintheCrow · 09/07/2017 16:38

It's beautiful!

It is lovely. A classic. I wear my Jean Muir outfits still, and always get complimented on them, they are timeless. I especially like her navy blue clothes, the colour she always wore.

Smallangryplanet · 09/07/2017 16:53

I'm 5'.7'. I think you're right about the heel, I'm always in flats and it didn't look quite right. I'm going to need shoes or boots.

I bought it for £60, looking for a picture I found a black one for sale on a vintage website for $750. I'd love a navy dress, this is dark aubergine. I love Jean Muir so much.

I have a navy coat like that, they where everywhere last winter. They are called robe coats but look very classic and elegant rather than dressing gown chic.
Nice bargain.

Oh it's lovely. I'm well jel as I'm too short to wear a coat like that.
