Could a £6000 facelift really achieve these results?

Can't sleep so I randomly googled Linda Nolan facelift. As you do.

Apparently, it cost £6000 and here are the before and after results. Amazing but do you think it's realistic?

No idea but fucking sign me up!

It's very good but she's really got her shoulders hunched in the second pic.

RonaldMcDonald · 09/07/2017 02:05

It looks like lower face and neck.
Has made a huge difference to her jaw and neck but a lot of the rest is make up and maybe fillers?

sparechange · 09/07/2017 02:07

It's changed the colour of her eyes!

DownUdderer · 09/07/2017 04:59

I think you need to try and imagine the 'after' photos without makeup and I wish she could do the same mouth in both photos it's almost a scowl!

niceupthedance · 09/07/2017 07:02

She must have had some lipo on her neck. She looks great though! Good job surgeon.

Ktown · 09/07/2017 07:06

Her eyes and skin colour are completely different and she is hunched.
Looks like photoshop for much of the differences.

Truckingalong · 09/07/2017 07:25

No, £6k in the uk will not get you that. She's had a shit load of work done. Face, eyes, neck, fillers, Botox.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 09/07/2017 07:29

She looks good.
She's had a lot done though.

ClaudiaNaughton · 09/07/2017 07:33

Photo of her in newspaper headlines about being scammed by someone and she doesn't look like the "after" pic.

IrritatedUser1960 · 09/07/2017 07:40

Yes it can I used to work for Bupa as a sister and we often did facelifts there, this was about 20 odd years ago.
I'm having one myself next year as my face has gone all to hell at 55. I'm having mione at Queen Victoria hospital East Grinstead, it is a specialist hospital for burns and plastic surgery and they do private plastic surgery on the side. I worked there as a nurse too in the 80's.
But anyone considering a facelift please please be careful there are lots of surgeons in the UK who are really no good at it and the results are awful, do your research.

IrritatedUser1960 · 09/07/2017 07:41

I'd say £10,000 though if you want a really good one.

PollyPerky · 09/07/2017 08:33

I think a lot of the 'before' pic is showing what happens when women get fat. Her face is bloated and puffy. Her neck has rolls of fat. The sagging is caused in some areas of her face by the fat.
I also think the pic has been photoshopped- the 'after ' one.

washinggotdarkedon · 09/07/2017 09:05

IrritatedUser - how much is it costing? And please come back with an update after surgery.

I don't think it's just a case of 'being fat' she had cancer and chemo and that can change your appearance beyond belief.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 09/07/2017 11:35

If it was a case of losing fat she would be saggy, but she looks really good. I didn't know about the chemo but if she looks like this after chemo then well done.

Good on her.

PollyPerky · 09/07/2017 12:00

If you google this, there are other photos and more info. She had a lower face lift and neck lift.

I think the photos here are carefully chosen! She has her chin tucked down in the 'before' shot and held up higher in the 'after'. She also had lots of wrinkles /lines above her upper lip in the before pics and she's had filler IMO to erase those. Also the make up and lighting is different in the 'after' shots.
