How do you use it?
I've ordered two bottles for my DC (teens)

DS has a fairly straightforward skincare routine but he's congested round the TZone
DD has a few blemishes but she'll want to combat this so I wanted to pre-empt (and save myself the trips to Boots to buy her loads of bottles)

Is it used with cotton pads?
After cleansing or before?
Morning or night?

How long till you notice a result?

And will they thank me? Grin

I use the Paula's Choice BHA from her Clear range. It's great, and I have been using it for years. I would recommend they use it at night, after cleansing and before moisturiser. DC should leave it for a good 20 minutes before they put moisturiser on top as that allows the active ingredients to work. I splash a small amount into the palm of my hands and apply it directly - it lasts longer if you do it this way, as cotton pads tend to soak it up.

I'm afraid I can't say how long it will take to work as I have been using it for so long, I have forgotten. If I stop using it I start getting clogged pores within a couple of weeks.

Do you know which one you've ordered? The clear range best for oily/teenage skin. Definitely use only at night after they've cleansed their face. It may make their skin a bit dry to start with so I'd only use it every other night to start with- you can always build up. A few things that might sound obvious (and I appreciate difficult to tell a teenager how to wash their face) but try and make sure they gently work the cleanser into their face paying particular attention to around the nose, chin and forehead and then rinse really thoroughly with clean running water, not too hot. Cleansing really well in the first place will help keep pores clear. Their hands need to be clean too before they start. I would suggest cotton pads as you can control where you put the product. They may only need it around nose, chin forehead. A skin cycle is around 6 weeks so any changes to skin care take a little while to see full effects. Hopefully they will thank you Smile
