Help me find the swimsuit holy grail...

This used to be the m&s ruched swimsuit, but the last few years I've found the sizing inconsistent and they get bobbly really quickly.

Does anyone know where is best to get swimsuits? I'm size 16/18 and looking for something that's going to be flattering on my stomach.

I've got no idea either! I'm the same size as you and always used to get swimsuits from BHS. When they disappeared I found Boots had great swimwear and bought from them for several years. Went shopping this afternoon hoping to pick up a couple of new suits for my hols and Boots no longer have a swimwear section! Very fed up now. Looked in M&S but wasn't impressed and debenhams was just a jumble sale. I did get a lovely one from John Lewis in the clearance sale but I think it was a return and I just got lucky. Hopefully someone else will come along with some bright ideas.

Seafolly have been my go to for a few years. But pricy but you can get a good discount on Surfdome and ASOS Outlet.

I posted on here a while ago and was directed to simply be, they had a good selection of underwired ones and weren't ridiculously priced.

I found that the majority of one piece swim wear were of two distinct types- for actually swimming (plain, black, racer back) or for posing on the beach (floral, pretty, nice colours, but with ridiculous straps, bits cut out, or asymmetrical craziness going on......)

This doesn't help when you're above a size 10 does it??!

I actually look better in bikini's but absolutely love this swimsuit from Liz Hurley. I only wear it as a leisure suit to walk around in, it's not been in the pool or the sea yet!

All her stuff is good quality.

I recently bought this one from Next .

I am a size 16 too with fairly big norks. What I like about it is the tummy control part that holds everything in nicely and the padding that give your boobs a nice lift.

Wild Boots used to be my go to place for comfortable flip flops, I've got a lovely bikini from there too, so sad they've stopped doing beachwear.

I had a look in asos yesterday for discounted seafolly and ended up ordering this: www.asos.com/asos-curve/asos-curve-miracle-swimsuit/prd/6467036?
It arrived this morning and is gorgeous on- gives me a really defined waist.

Just come back from a trip to next following the advice of mrschopper and came out with a great bikini with really flattering bottoms www.next.co.uk/g953082s6#171144

I'm so pleased. Thanks all.
