Brazilian blow dry at home, any advice?

I used to have a BBD every few months but now I can't get to the salon that does it near me.

However, mate is a mobile hairdresser and could do it for me at home, though she's never used this product before.

So can anyone recommend a product I can buy for this? Or any clever tips on ingredients to avoid etc?

Thanks

I've used a DIY one from amazon which worked really well but I've just looked to see what it was called for you and they don't stock it anymore - sorry! But according to reviews it's been replaced by the Cocochoco one so maybe try that one?

Ah ok. Thanks.

The one I used to have at the hairdressers smelled chocolatey, so maybe it's similar?

They put the smell of chocolate or peppermint etc in to cover the smell of the formaldehyde gas that's produced when you mix the product ingredients.

I thought there were lots of formaldehyde free versions now?
