Strapless Bras. Does a comfortable one exist?

Just that, really.

I threw out my old one last summer, lest I ever be tempted to wear it again because it was torture.

I bought a new one on Amazon which was highly rated - torturous.

I bought a new one at M&S which seemed OK a few days ago- just put it on 30 min ago and yep, it's torture too.

Any suggestions?

Which M&S one did you try? I have two styles from them which are ok. The first is a bandeau with a wide lace band around the bottom, and the second one of those multiway things that comes with both fabric and clear silicon detachable straps. The second doesn't feel all that secure with the straps removed, so maybe not good for bigger boobs, but very comfy.

My old faithful is from ASDA and I'm a DD.

I've heard the wonderbra one is good

I have a strapless bra from Rigby & Pellar (sp?) and it is actually really comfortable, and I have large norks! I appreciate they are expensive, but I have bought plenty of others and wish I had just bought this one straight off the bat!

The best one for comfort and more importantly uplift for me was the Wonder Bra one, but I'm talking about 8 years ago!

Screwtheroses · 07/07/2017 19:17

The wonderbra one with built in 'hands' is amazing and looks great with low cut tops too. It isn't cheap but is worth it

Desperad0 · 07/07/2017 19:19

Agree with pp the wonderbra one is the best, stays up, no lines

imjessie · 07/07/2017 19:20

My best one is from matalan . I'm 32f/ g

BusterGonad · 07/07/2017 19:23

Just to add a friend actually complimented me on my boobs whilst wearing the Wonder Bra one, now that is no mean feat in a strapless!

Screwtheroses · 07/07/2017 19:23

Has anyone tried those stick on backless ones with the laces that you pull to create cleavage that I keep seeing advertised all over Facebook? I'm tempted but can't see how they would work on DD boobs.

BusterGonad · 07/07/2017 19:27

Screw I think they'd be as good as useless!

steppingout · 08/07/2017 00:15

Another vote for Wonderbra - have to get the size right though...

TipTopTipTopClop · 08/07/2017 11:15

Wow thanks all! Wonder bra it is Wink

Screw I tried all sorts of stick on bras in a hunt to find something to go under my wedding dress and they were all useless and I'm not even particularly well endowed - 28F according to intervention though have never found that size to try on! They come unstuck if you move your arms or pucker at the edges.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 08/07/2017 11:23

I ended up with a low backed short basque from house of Fraser and it was comfy.
