Plus size bras

I'm on a mission to not feel quite so shit about myself and throwing money at the problem seems the way to go!

I'm a 46c, would like the sides to be thick so I don't get the fat rolls burying the fabric quite as much Grin , and I want my boobs to be pushed up and looking fab!

So where is the best place to get a plus size bra?

TIA

I'm a similar size - firstly have you done the bra intervention? You may well need a smaller back and a bigger cup.

Then look at Panache, the sculptresse range is fab. Also Elomi. Both brands make great bras in larger sizes that are attractive and effective.

Thank you! Will look at the bra intervention first!

I wear a 44 f, have bought bras from everywhere and I have to say the T-shirt bras that I bought recently from asda are the most comfortable I've ever worn and very cheap too .I'm a total convert now I bought two,one black and one white just to try them out and I'm delighted with them Grin

46c? Really I'd be very surprised if you are.
Have you done boob or bust.
What dress size are you?

bingohandjob · 31/07/2017 11:20

Bravissimo's Satine bra might be good for you - I love them. Wide straps, give wonderful lift and separate cleavage - looks good and feels great on. Go and get measured - they'll do it by eye. I was horrified when it was suggested to me as it's lightly padded but it honestly looks and feels brilliant and I've got a hell of a rack. Think they're about thirty quid each.

I thought I was 34dd but I'm actually a 32gg. I am struggling to find bras that aren't visible under my tshirts now.

Little who/where is this wondrous woman of whom you speak?

polyhymnia · 31/07/2017 14:02

Strongly recommend a fitting at Rigby and Peller. And my favourite bra - Prima Donna Deauville.

Branleuse · 31/07/2017 14:07

What dress size do you wear. I really doubtvyoure a 46c

ggirl · 31/07/2017 14:42

Prima donna deauville bra is the dogs bollox of bras for big boobs.
Expensive but so worth it. Probably £70ish
I have a drawer full of fantasie , freya ,cheapies from amazon and I never wear them cos the support is rubbish compared to prima donna bras.

Thanks Littlereid. Coincidentally, Optifit came up when I googled 'custom made bras,' but a totally different website. I assume it's a franchise and your lady has bought into it. Anyway, it's good to see a positive review; mn search didn't come up with anything so thanks again.

Ah ok. Wonder if could find a reason to go to Manchester! Could order online I suppose. I'm totally with you on the cheaper bras thing - but I actually own some that have cost ££ but still don't do the job!
