Lovely skin stuff - cheaper in France?

Going on hols v soon, and wonder if it's wiser to buy over there?

I'm looking to buy La Roche Posey SPF body and face for starters.

Also - if anyone has suggestions for what I might look out for in the supermarket, pharmacy etc, I'd be ever so grateful!

TIA Smile

La Roche posay and avene are no cheaper anymore, particularly with the exchange rate but there is certainly more choice from these brands.
I love all French pharmacies and petit Marseillais is lovely.
They sell lots of tanning and weight loss pills too
I think they should combine them to make a real money spinner!

The savings on brands have narrowed, but even supermarkets stock soaps and shower gels etc that are far superior to ours.

One tablet for tanning and weight loss @Ktown ? Smile I'm surprised they haven't. Do the tanning pills work?

Embryolisse is cheaper in France.

Love le petit marseillais, i always buy the white peach&nectarine shower gel Smile

I heard Cottage shower gels are really nice too.

Id like to think loccitane and decleor were cheaper in France, love them

I don't think the French pharmacy skincare brands are much cheaper in France now compared to here.

Escentual have 30% off them all at the moment anyway, so I'm definitely buying mine here (despite going on holiday to France soon).

I will definitely be stocking up on supermarket shower gels when I'm there, though!

I love Nuxe but maybe you can get it everywhere now.

MercuryMadness · 06/07/2017 22:27

Cottage is a little low end - you can get it in my local branch of Franprix!

I think the Paris discount pharmacies are still bargaintastic. I am always looking for stuff you can't get in the uk. Agree emrbyolisse is much cheaper.
