Any beauticians or anyone know whether Hopi ear candles are safe to use during pregnancy?
Thanks :)

I can't answer the safety question but I can tell you that they do fuck all to relieve wax build up (assuming that's what you're using them for?) Grin

Even if you remove pregnancy from the question the answer seems to be "no". www.audiology.org/news/ear-candles-and-candling-ineffective-and-dangerous

They don't work anyway Smile

If you burn one on its own, nowhere near an ear, you still get "earwax" inside them at the end.

I had them done when I was pregnant, I spent the entire time thinking my hair was going to catch alight! Never again!

Loads of videos on YouTube showing how the "don't" work. Really interesting to watch if you're a bit of a nerd like me Confused
