Can you put together an outfit for me?

I have a big birthday in a couple of weeks and we are having a party with around 40 guests.

I'm rubbish with fashion and always end up choosing such plain clothes.
Would love some inspiration/suggestions as I've already spent hours scrolling through numerous websites!

Some guide :

  • My DD will be 5 weeks old at the time - I'm EBF so needs to be something I can easily and discreetly bf in (not necessarily a nursing top/dress)

  • it's an afternoon party so nothing too fancy - my initial thought was nice trousers/jeans and top although I'm open to suggestions

  • I'm around 5'2" and a size 12. I've dropped most of my baby weight but my tummy is still quite soft due to the aforementioned baby so nothing too figure hugging

*i've got red hair and green eyes

Think that's all the relevant info! Any help appreciated

I'm really into high waisted, wide legged 1940s style trousers at the moment. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea and I have to be a bit careful because I'm only 5'3 but I think they're instantly glamorous and a change from jeans. Something like these M&S ones although I've not seen them in real life.

And for a further bit of glamour, I love a silk shirt - in fact I like the one the m&s model is wearing although that may not be so practical if you're getting breast milk leakages - maybe a pattern or stripes would work better better? I'd wear with plimsolls and a few chunky rings.

Keep on bumping. It seems a bit quiet on here at the moment but I'm sure they'll be other people along with different suggestions.
