What is "the" nail colour this summer?

I bit my nails for years and over the past 12 months have been getting them done. They are now long enough and strong enough that I don't want to bite them any more. With that in mind, I was wondering what the colour for nails is this summer? There was a time when every summer Chanel brought out a colour and it was the must have colour.

What is good for Summer 2017??

It's all about peach for me this summer. In a matte colour though.

Peach, baby blue, light pink, lilac, Mint green and coral.

Essie's Sunday Funday for me. It's a bright coral and tones nicely with my lipstick (MAC Tropic Tonic).

I'm going for a light blue with a sort of iridescent sheen.
Must admit, I find it hard to move away from grey/greige but it looks a bit wrong in the sunshine.
The corals are a bit bright for work and some of the pastel colours do look rather bridal or Disney princess.

Coincidently had a nail appointment this afternoon and had my head turned by this rose gold chrome which I absolutely love!!

I thought it was gold this summer. I bought gold and then saw a friend who's senior at an Italian fashion house was also wearing gold, so for once reckoned I'd got it right!

I've seen a few young girls with bright peach nails. Almost neon peach. Looks good on them.

I'm obviously "in" for once then . I've got the Primark on from that article. It's lovely. I've also got a Maybelline one called Unicorn something and the W7 version of the OPI one she linked to and I'm wearing Barry M Holographic Lights today.

I love multichromes. They do need a good base and topcoat though.

I like an opaque pastel for summer. Coincidentally, I had my nails done today and have gone for Shellac Creekside (pale baby blue). In the past had Lilac Longing, Winter Glow (pale pink), Cake Pop (a bit icier than Winter Glow), and white!
