What do people think of birkenstock wedges?

I'm looking at the Dorothy
They are ridiculously comfortable
But are they ok? Style-wise? Or am I deluded

I'm 28 and wouldn't wear them. My 60 year old aunties both regularly wear shoes in this style and look fantastic though!

I bought them. I couldn't resist the comfort and the slight elongation to the legs.... and I found a pair with a black footbed which I think will wear (and look!) better and a bit smarter...
