Parka pricey or cheaper

I really want a parka and am at the point of my life where I have too much volume and not enough nice stuff, so was thinking of going for the Parka London Marni one but then saw Asos own brand one with a lovely shape for £55... anyone got a Parka London one and if so what do you think?

At this point am I better off waiting for eg whistles and Zara etc to get their winter stock in?

Parka advice please Grin

It's certainly worth paying for cut and quality, but not necessarily for a label IYSWIM. The Marni one looks nice enough but I'd expect something more for the price (even though it's already heavily reduced).

I've got a Parka London parka from a few years back - also a sale purchase - and I'm still really pleased with it. It's washed well and has a handy removable warm lining so can be worn in different seasons. I always find ASOS own brand a bit hit and miss for quality but could be worth buying both with a view to returning if they don't suit.

Jigsaw have a lovely one in their sale - reduced from £199 to £135.

I have a Parka London Thelma parka. Bought the previous winter. I spend a lot of time stood on the sidelines watching DS play football so I needed a coat that was practical.

It's warm, water resistant, not too bulky and I like the fact that I can un-zip and take off the fur trim around the hood.
