I need dress for speech day

I need something relatively smart for DS's speech day. I'm 5ft7, size 16, freckly and prefer to cover the top bits of my arms. I have strawberry blonde hair. I would prefer to wear a dress.

Those are lovely but I would prefer a bit more cover on my arms.

My DS's speech day was at the weekend. 1500 people crammed into a marquee. Chair of governers' speech, headmaster's speech, guest of honour's speech, head girl and boy's speech, a zillion prizes awarded to the same people who get them every year... it's a long time to sit. We all remember previous years when it was scorching and we could barely breathe... luckily this year it was cooler. If I were you I would wear a sleeveless or short sleeved dress with a little jacket on top. In that way your arms will be covered, but you have the option to take it off if it gets too hot. Enjoy Smile

It's this weekend and meant to be 27 degrees on Saturday. I would rather go without a jacket but cover my arms.
