Best foot cream for soft feet?

sowhatusernameisnttaken · 02/07/2017 18:15

I'm after some foot cream for super soft feet. I've managed to get rid of all my horrible cracked hard skin but now want to inject some serious moisture into them with a lovely foot cream...any recommendations?

Flexitol! I tried after many MN threads recommending it and haven't looked back since.

i am using flexitol to get rid of calluses on the heels. It's quite moisturising. Coconut oil is good for moisture and pretty cheap. Bpdy Shop Hemp cream also good.

*Body Shop, sorry

CakeNinja · 02/07/2017 18:26

I use flexitol. £5 a week is a small price to pay for soft feet - I use around a tube every week.

Onynx · 02/07/2017 18:51

Flexitol here too!

sowhatusernameisnttaken · 02/07/2017 20:18

Thanks everyone - do you all use the balm or the cream?

Loccitane shea is fab

EnidButton · 02/07/2017 21:39

I'm not keen on flexitol as it leaves a coating on my feet. I've just starting using CCS cream and really like it so far. Sinks in without leaving any traces, feet very soft. www.boots.com/ccs-foot-care-cream-175ml-10016394

I used footner a week ago so it's a maintenance thing. Boots have a footcare offer on at the minute so I got a Masque bar foot mask too. Haven't tried it yet.

CakeNinja · 02/07/2017 22:35

Actually, I switch between flexitol and the Scholl dry skin recovery cream which is the one I've got at the moment.
I agree with Enid, the flexitol does seem to leave a sort of greasy coating but that doesn't bother me, I usually stick socks over them if I'm getting up and walking about.

EnidButton · 02/07/2017 23:32

Which one do you use Cake? Just looked and it's the flexitol heel balm that I have. I do tend to put lots loads on. Maybe I should use less.

robinia · 02/07/2017 23:34

Another vote for flexitol. Only takes 2-3 days to make a difference and does the cracked skin too.

RaspberryBeretHoopla · 02/07/2017 23:34

I use the flexitol at night and put socks on over it. It does leave a greasy coating but I just give it a wipe with a baby wipe.

alphajuliet123 · 02/07/2017 23:39

I tried Flexitol and Scholl, but NOTHING beats Boots own brand cracked heel balm. It's on buy-one-get-one-half-price at the mo. Honestly, of the 3 I tried for my very dry cracked feet it's by far the best.

EnidButton · 02/07/2017 23:51

This one Juliet? www.boots.com/boots-cracked-heel-balm-50ml-10115028

alphajuliet123 · 03/07/2017 12:17

Yes that's the stuff. I always get 2 big tubes when it's on offer. Let us know how it goes!

OCSockOrphanage · 03/07/2017 12:23

CCS is good, and so is the newish Margaret Dabbs stuff from M&S. It also smells quite nice.

EnidButton · 03/07/2017 16:10

Thanks Smile

MeadowHay · 03/07/2017 17:39

The best ones I've used so far are the Hemp one from The Body Shop, and Soap and Glory's one which is called 'Heel Genius'.

teaping · 03/07/2017 17:44

Another vote for l'occitane shea - it's absolutely amazing and feels like a treat for my feet!

Skinfulnappies46 · 03/07/2017 18:16

My heels aren't too bad but I do have lots of hard skin on the sole/side of my big toes. Would a cream sort this or do I need something more physical?

kkkkaty123 · 03/07/2017 18:22

I've been applying coconut oil at night then wearing socks. You can also wrap your feet in cling film then put on the socks. Iv been on a mission to sort my feet out lately and this has helped massively!

EnidButton · 03/07/2017 18:57

Skinful I'd use footner first and then keep on top of it with a foot cream.

Skinfulnappies46 · 04/07/2017 08:51

Will be trying the Footner definitely. Just saw a Cosmopolitan article on it with photos 😲
Hate the smell of Flexitol so will try the Boots one.

JohnnyUtahsWetsuit · 04/07/2017 08:59

Soap and Glory Heel Genius does the trick for me.

Paffle · 04/07/2017 09:09

Do you all sleep in socks then? Do your feet not get really hot? Or do you not wear socks and if so does the stuff not rub off all over the sheets?
