Are makeup lessons worth it?

Or should I just watch YouTube tutorials?

I'm crap at applying makeup so I don't normally bother with it but I'm hoping to change that!

Has anyone had lessons? Or would I be better just watching videos and practicing at home?

Yes. They are great. I got one just before my wedding 5 years ago. I'm still not great & I can't do anything too fancy but it gave me knowledge & confidence to try new things.

Some make up counters do them for free if you wanted to try that first?
