Please help! I've had a last minute invitation to a big banquet. The guidance is that you can wear what you want but to remember that most people won't be dressed casually. It says most women will wear cocktail dresses, though some will wear full length and others will wear trousers.
My problem is that I'm a size 18, big boobs, apple shaped, and never ever wear a dress. I need help! I've been scouring sites but can't see anything I like (or that would like me.) I just can't see myself in a dress - my legs never see daylight so I'd have to wear tights, which would be crazy in the summer.
Can anyone suggest a really nice top and some trousers? I need to look like I've made a big effort. The alternative would be a mid-calf dress but I'm nervous about that.
Money isn't a problem - I'd rather spend more and get something I'm happy with.
