Strapless bras

So - following on from a thread which deems visible bra straps as a fashion no-no and the fact that I have now lost enough weight that I think I may be able to get away with a strapless bra, can anyone recommend a good one which will keep my boobs up at the height they used to be Confused, give them a nice shape (not squished flat as a pancake) and is comfortable enough to wear all day, several days a week? Am I asking too much?

You could try the wonderbra with the 'hands'. Strapless bras are usually quite tight though, so I personally wouldn't feel comfortable wearing one day to day.

I will have a look at that Sesame, thank you.
What do people do then? My go to tops for everyday wear are basic strappy vest tops.

The wonderbra ultimate strapless I shall fab, but you need to go up a back size

Madbengalmum · 01/07/2017 17:11

Wonderbra ultimate is the only one that works for me and it is brilliant for bigger boobs.

Mostly just wear a normal bra under them.

Boux avenue have an amazing one
I have 30FF boobs and have never found a strapless bra that's comfy or holds up massive boobs
This one

A wonderbra sounds hideous for people with big boobs

Another supporter of the Wonderbra ultimate strapless, but I don't have particularly large boobs so can't comment on that angle (30DD and I'm a size 8-10). I didn't go up a back size with it - I don't think it would fit properly if I did. Yes, it is very tight, but it needs to be to keep everything where it's supposed to be. I have worn it for very long days a few times (including my wedding day!), and it was fine and not a problem, but once I wore it for two very long days in a row and then it started to dig in and irritate my skin, so I wouldn't wear it every day. But then I don't really have this problem as my usual clothing is t-shirts and at work it's shirts so it's only occasionally I feel the need to wear one.

I use this Bravissimo Strapless Bra one, it is very comfortable and I can wear it all day.

KatharinaRosalie · 01/07/2017 21:38

Wonderbra - I'm a 30FF and it does not move. You might need to size up though, it's very tight

GinIsIn · 01/07/2017 22:06

Coming out of pregnancy I was a 38g and wonderbra strapless worked then!

robinia · 02/07/2017 23:43

I am at the opposite end of the spectrum - more like a 34B! But I do need the uplift and the support if I'm to avoid a spaniel's ears look Blush

Sounds like it's pretty universal for Wonderbra though. Will get one and let you know how I get on Smile

have you been bra-fitted since your weight loss?

chipsandpeas · 03/07/2017 07:28

ive got various strapless bras and the best is the one i got from primark im a dd cup and it doesnt fall down or feel uncomfy

TowerRose · 03/07/2017 08:00

I've always struggled with strapless bras, but the strapless bras at Ann Summers were surprisingly really good, I won't buy any others now

robinia · 04/07/2017 21:07

@Katharina
No - but I'm existing on three bras until my weight settles at wherever it's going to settle at. In the meantime I will invest in one strapless bra and see how I get on.

Def the wonderbra with the hands...amazing. But I agree the sizes are really weird-I had to try a few before I got one that fitted.

WhooooAmI24601 · 04/07/2017 22:14

Wonderbra Ultimate is invincible.

Next's strapless bras now come in larger sizes but offer no support at all.
