Retin a from ebay

I've bought tubes of retin a from ebay from a seller from Thailand over the past couple of years. I now cannot find a single tube of the stuff for sale. Slight panic as I will be running out soon and it has massively improved my middle-aged skin.

I used to use obagi tretinoin and the johnson and johnson tubes from Thailand were exactly the same for a tenth of the price. Does anyone know where to get the 0.05 stuff?

I want to know this too, thanks for posting. Can I ask you where and how you use the cream? I started using it years ago but hated the peeling and dryness but want to persevere as I know so many swear by the stuff

Hi hot-natured. I had a skin consultation and bought a tube of obagi tretinoin 0.05% for about £70.
The advice I had was twice a week for a fortnight and then every other day. The routine was thorough cleanse at night, leave skin for about half an hour and then apply a pea sized amount over the face, including crows feet, but not eyelids. In the morning, cleanse, 20% vit C serum, moisturise lightly and then apply an all day high protection suncream with a lunchtime top up. On the non retin a night, I use a rich cream. My peeling was minimal on this regime.

I then decided to try a tube from ebay for £7 and it looked, felt and smelt identical. But where are they now??

PharmacyGeoff has it. Never used them myself but they get recomended a lot. Alternatively, wait a week or so and the eBay links will likely be back. They're always doing sweeps and removing retin a listings and they've always popped up again a few days later.

Or if you're going to France or Spain or Portugal you can buy a tube in a pharmacy OTC.

Never achieve tolerance to tretinoin, will with retinol. Always have red and peeling if using tretinoin correctly, 20g tube two weeks!!! Saw the man himself speak, Zein Obagi few weeks ago, fascinating. He said two thirds of us in the room would have rosecea, acne was an immune response to sebum. So interesting. Seemed tretinoin / hydroquinone approach more disease very stressed skin and anti-ageing rthe retinol pathway. But of course, as he would stipulate need to visit professional
