I had mine done 10 days ago and they've now gone scabby and completely disappeared, like I've never had them done !

My therapist said it might happen but the top up in 6 weeks should 'hopefully' stay!

Is this right? Surely if they've disappeared then the top up is just starting from scratch again?!

What's disappeared?

Dailystuck71 · 30/06/2017 22:11

Yes it's right. It can take a few attempts to get the pigment to stick. I'm about to have my last top up. This will be my fourth time. I'm thrilled though.

4th time? In how long? I was told there would be just 1 top up then that's it..

Ha. I've put a similar post. Turns out you def lose them Almost completely and then they come back slightly, but second top up makes them amazing. Don't use coconut oil like some suggest and leave them for 2 weeks after 2nd Appt .

Chicinwellies · 30/06/2017 22:39

4th time shouldn't happen. Everyone is different but there should only need to be first Appt then top up, if done properly.

Put bepanthen on them-mine healed in 4-5 days

Dailystuck71 · 01/07/2017 07:52

It takes as long as it takes. I'm with one of the best in Edinburgh. Some people take 5/6 times particularly those with hair loss due to cancer or those with barely there blonde brows.

Mine look amazing, just a couple of bits have faded out and need filled in.

You don't put anything on them at all in 2 weeks. No creams and you must keep them dry. That's the hardest bit with hair washing. Do not pick or remove any scab, even if it looks like it's about to fall off as it will take the pigment with them.

Mine were covered in a little bepanthen for first 5 days as per my therapist instructions, always looked fine & no scabs!
