Top/Legging combo's

After having DD I'm the biggest I've ever been, size 18 bottom, 16/18 top and really hating my body.

I'm on the verge of doing something about it but in the meantime would like some long tunic style tops to go over leggings as this is about all I feel comfortable in. However, all tunics seem to be a straight fit and my hips/bum are wobbly and large.

Where can I find some reasonably priced long tops, preferably sleeveless or short-sleeved that are more fitted on top but floaty over my bum? I'm 6ft 1" so top needs to cover my arse!!

I've looked at next, New Look (appears fashion moved on as I don't like anything) DP, Apricot (don't go above a 16 ), Simply Be.......

I just feel so...... frumpy and defeated. I'm early 30's and have no idea where to shop anymore. I'd just like some key outfits to make me at least feel comfortable until I start losing weight.

You could try East, they do a lot of floaty tunic tops.

EBay look for block colours not patterns

Search for swing tops, ASOS usually have a selection.

How about tops like these. From ASOS curve range. My sister buys a lot from there and always looks good

Go for a slim fit jean rather than leggings. They are rarely flattering and at your height will look great with any longish top.

I've looked at Sainsburys but not the rest although I've seen some Jow Browns and liked them but the ones I saw were a tad pricey.

I've steered clear of skinny jeans because I didn't think they'd suit me. As I'm tall, (as long as teamed with a long top and good quality leggings) I've always thought they looked ok

I'll go take a look at next's skinny jeans as I know they fit in the leg, see if there is anything that takes my fancy there too

I bought two nice sleeveless "tunic" tops from Evans - whom I have been despairing of recently. They almost look like short 1960s dresses - am well pleased - so try there, even though Evans sometimes go to Frumpland!
